@Judy: I think the bee and bunny pics are a reflection of their huge respect for nature in Costa Rica. There are some barren spots where you can see that a lot of trees have been removed, but otherwise there's a pretty heavy emphasis on preservation, recycling and generally caring for what's left. It's pretty impressive, IMHO. We don't see rabbits at all, here. There are no leash laws. The dogs get 'em.

@MARIANA: Thank you! I thought so, too. A friend commented on his grubby hands and I thought she was missing the point. He was a muscular working man, but he held that little guy with such care!! :)

@Earnest: I think they're rather tame. There were rabbits hopping around all over the place at that hotel (each building had two rooms -- it was more like a series of little cabins than a hotel). When I first spotted one of those guys, it was such a perfect little white creature that I thought he was a statue. And, then he hopped. Boy, that was a surprise.

@David: Thank you! I think that olive background color was the side of one of the buildings. I was fortunate that he held the bunny up in front of something nice and plain.
