@jamesy: Thank you, Debbie! @grouser: Thanks, Grousikins. :) @Lorraine: Yes, Ms. Rainy. 'Tis the real thing - a widdle birdy in a place where they grow like weeds. Oooooh, thanks for all the sparkly stars! @Vachel: Thank you! I'd call it lucky timing. Those little suckers are fast, but I chased them around. You can imagine the joy within the Costa Rican hummingbird community ("Oh, no. Here comes that human, again!"). @Earnest: Thank you, thank you, thank you and thank you. Have you been to Costa Rica? You would love it, you crazy nature buff, you. @Elora: Many thanks! @Joanne: Thank you! I think it's kinda special, too. I'm glad these guys don't sting. There were quite a few of them hanging around! @Judy: You have such sharp eyes. I didn't even notice the ant!! Thanks, Judy. :) @lucid: They're really beautiful, aren't they? I was surprised how many different varieties of hummingbird that we spotted. I'll have to dig for more. Many thanks!! |
