Water play

I want to be a polar bear!! They have all the fun! This photo was taken at the Memphis Zoo, last month, when we took our youngest son up to spend a weekend with his big brother. While they spent time together, hubby and I went to the zoo.

I'm not sure you do oh Bookalicious one, not at the rate their habitat is dissapearing. Lovely photo though, full of movement and energy

@grouser: Well, apart from the disappearing habitat, they do seem to have an awful lot of fun. I've got a shot of this fellow coming up out of the water and then deliberately slapping the surface to splash the other bear. Neither shot is great, but they do make me laugh. Those guys are so playful!

I love how their hair/fur floats and moves as they swim. This is a good capture of him at play.

@Earnest: The polar bears really do always seem to figure out how to have a good time. I love watching them. Plus, the polar bear building is air conditioned. Gotta love that.

@peter: Thanks, Peter! I think they're absolutely enthralling. I could probably hang out in the polar bear building all day. But, everyone gets sick of the way I stop, set up, and click, click, click, click, as is. No need to make them all comatose. LOL
