@Lorraine: Thanks, Rainy. Just one more and I guess . . . zoo pictures, maybe? I haven't really gotten the camera out much, this summer.

@grouser: Well, you see, Grousie . . . it's rather hot in Mississippi. If we're not barefoot, we're in flip-flops. I actually had to tell my son, "Put on actual socks and shoes." He looked at me for a beat and said, "Oh, okay." Had to think about it, I guess! I do like staying well away from the explosives, so being the photographer works for me. :)

@Earnest: Yes, and that wasn't the only one. We had a dud that fizzled and the guys started to walk forward. I said, "I wouldn't --" and at that point it started to seriously get going, so they took off running. It's funny, as long as you don't get burned.

@MrsAmber: Oh, do give fireworks a try. But, be careful! They're fun to photograph, but you never know when they're going to shoot off in an unexpected direction.

@MontereyJohn: I think it's a guy thing. You fellers never quite grow out of your toys. LOL Okay, I admit I kind of like snapping the pictures. :)
