Nuts, she caught me! - Silly Tuesday

You have to feel for the spouses of shutterbugs. This is my husband, eating some of the pecans we inherited (seriously, the pecans were the most important thing to split when my mom died, as far as hubby was concerned) in our back jungle. It's supposed to be a backyard, but right now . . . it's a back jungle. I need hired help.

@Craig: Haha. I actually put this one on the wrong day, but fortunately your comment tagged along. Poor husband. He tried to get me to change the image but I decided the other one was just too boring.

@Linerberry: The foot was what caught my eye; his expression was a bonus. Glad you like that! I think he's pretty silly, in general, but he'd rather I not show that fact off too often. :)

@grouser: He has cute little feet compared to my son. LOL He just looks mad, but he wasn't. We were having a pleasant conversation while he stuffed himself with nuts. My husband's a little squirrelly.

Oh He doesn't think so...lol I love this, I tellyou open a blog, day by day, complain, bitch show what you've done even it it's just an inch, you'll love and blow steam and won't end up in jail for hitting your husband with a gardening tool ;) lol

@Lorraine: So true, Rainy. One thing I'll never show off is what he does to the kitchen. Ack, horrifying! He cooks, but by the time he's done you can't even find the sink to rinse things. Scary. This is a sweet photo compared to what I could show you. LOL

@Richard_Irwin: Well, he's working on it. That area behind him contains a bird nest and tons of humongous poison ivy vines, so he has to work very carefully. I really think we'd be better off hiring someone because hubby has gotten poison ivy in his eyes, in the past (you can imagine how fun that was!), but he doesn't like hiring people to do anything at all, so there you go. Little by little.

@Lesley: It might as well be. We're subtropical -- no rainforests, but we've got so much heavy undergrowth that yardwork is a year-round battle. There's never a time we're not doing something -- raking, weeding, mowing, hacking vines, hauling limbs to the curb. Ugh. Who has a book signing? Rod?

@PD: Hahaha! Yep, you're right! Those are his mowing shoes. He really doesn't wear them for much of anything else but the yardwork and they're a bit stained.

Yeah, doesn't look to happy about the shooting but I'm sure is enjoying the pecans - speaking of which I have a piece of pie in the fridge made from some my mom gave us.... got to beat the wife to it.
