Little tweeter - Costa Rica #21

I loved this little bird because he provided an excellent excuse to stop and catch my breath halfway up the last hill to our hotel. Nice little birdy.

So busy Bookish one. Seems like a great job to me or does reviewing take the pleasure out of reading? Do you have any control over what you review? We have a great reviewer over here ( a Mr Crace) who does condensed and scathing pastiches of the books he reads in the 'Guardian' newspaper finishing them off with a damning one liner.

@grouser: I just read for fun, not money, although I've got quite a few connections who send books for review. It was actually sucking the joy away, for a while, but then I realized the problem was that I continued to force myself through review books that I wasn't enjoying. So, I gave myself permission to quit reading those that didn't grab me. Ahh, much better. I'll always love reading, but I doubt I'll continue to write a review blog for too much longer.
@Lorraine: Thanks, Rainy! I love that little bird. He seems to be missing from my book of birds native to Costa Rica (just arrived, this week!) so I can't say what kind of bird that is, but he's a cutie, isn't he?

@Lesley: Hahaha! You win the Made Bookfool Laugh award of the day. :) I thought about asking you if you or your brother can identify this guy. I can't find him in my book of Costa Rican birds (maybe I should look in the North American identification guides, instead?).

I checked with my brother and he thinks it might be a Rufous-collard Sparrow. Sure looks like it!
