@Earnest: Well, I did get some Morpho pics, but they're rather pathetic. I might have one worth sharing ... Call it an excuse to return to Costa Rica (I can come up with quite a few).

@MrsAmber: You know, they do tend to do that. LOL I really hadn't taken any butterfly pics at all until a couple of years ago, when I noticed they were practically swarming around the bushes at the pool, while my son was at swim practice and I had to entertain myself. It helps to use a long lens, shoot quickly, and learn which butterflies pose nicely and which like to keep their wings slammed shut, when they're not flying. I didn't realize that varied by the type of butterfly until I began reading up on them. I did get some Blue Morpho shots, but they kind of suck. I'll see if I can find one worth sharing (the name does sound a bit funny, doesn't it?).
