Walking to town - Costa Rica #12Posted by Bookfool (Mississippi, United States) on 7 May 2009 in Landscape & Rural. This is the beginning of Day 2 in Costa Rica. We did not have a rental car, so we walked to the Monteverde Butterfly Garden. Off to the left of the road was this gorgeous vista. Costa Rica has got some really startlingly beautiful scenery. I wish I'd gotten a few more photos like this. I had to snap quickly because I had a little asthma trouble in CR and the guys just kept zooming off ahead of me. I had to snap and run, stop and wheeze, catch up and wheeze some more. There were always people walking along the roads, wherever we went. It's easy to see why the vast majority of people are thin in Costa Rica.
