Look right - Costa Rica #2

After setting down our luggage, the first thing we did was check out the balcony. The doors were wide open -- no screens necessary during the daytime because it was nice and dry in Monteverde and the insects only became pesky at night. I turned to the right and snapped a photo of a hibiscus plant, then got caught up in the activity of a little bird couple that was apparently nesting in the hanging basket beside the balcony. More on the birds, later . . .

@grouser: Yes, more of that French stuff. LOL Thanks, Grousikins. I love backlighting, but it was sort of a given and not by design. We arrived late in the afternoon.

Oh MY Gosh this is stunning Booky, divine lighting oh and the colours are scrumptious, how, but how coul dI have forgotten that my booky also has an AM3, well at least NOW I can blame it on being fifty ;) I won't forget again lol

@Lorraine: Why, thank you, Rainy! You forgot about me? Well, yes, there is that aging thing to blame it on. I blame my forgetfulness on potassium. I came close to death from low potassium, a few years ago. You can pull that one out of the hat for the rest of your life!

@MontereyJohn: Thanks. :) Good way to look at it. Someone has to travel! Someone has to enjoy those beautiful flowers (and hummingbirds and the rainforest and . . . ooohhhh, that coffee)!

@Lesley: Thanks, Les. Me, too. I cannot get a hibiscus to grow, here (so far), but I think I just need to study up because I planted mine on the hot, dry corner by the driveway and they're apparently too thirsty to put up with such treatment.
