Some of my favorite flowers are weeds

I seldom mention this, but I frequently do almost nothing but crop my photos because I have the really cheap, pitiful software. I should probably do something about that. These weeds are in one of my gardens; I've yet to turn the soil and clean out in preparation for planting -- and planting season in our region is usually over by late April. So, they're pretty but they'll be going bye-bye, soon.

@jamesy: Thank you, Debbie! Grouser's right -- they're just in the wrong spot. I hate to pull them out, but they've got to go.

@P J W Miller: Oh, yes. I think those little flowers are just beautiful. They'd be 6 feet tall in no time, though, and that's a bad spot for a 6-foot tall weed with tiny flowers. Darn. :)

@grouser: It certainly is, Grouster. I love those little flowers but weeds like that do grow 6-8 feet tall if you let them go, here. BTW, The Raw Shark Texts arrived! I'll tell you what I think, when I get to the book. I got 19 books, last week, so it might be a while. ;)

I love these weeds, too. And, I have really cheap software, too. As in, nonexistent other than what I got on this computer from Bill Gates. ;) Shhh.

Wonderful depth of field!!! I don't think we need all that sofware sometimes, I only have picasa3, simple and easy to use!

@Linerberry: Thanks, Liners! This was a really lazy shot because I had a 300mm lens on the camera and couldn't be bothered to go change lenses. I use Picasa3, too. Free is good. But, there are things I'd like to be able to do, someday, for the sake of having fun with my photos and Picasa is low on features. My father-in-law has a nifty program that gives photos a cartoon look that I just love.

wild is always pretty, especially flowers. Oh, and I don't quite follow, what do you mean you have to crop your photos because you have cheap software ? The need for cropping isn't the function of quality of software.
But you don't have to use crappy programs and there are plenty of good software that are FREE !!

@Roman: I meant I seldom do much more than crop -- not that I have to crop. The cheap software has nothing to do with my ability (or lack thereof) to compose a shot. That is one fabulous link. Thank you, Roman!
