While playing with the color range, I found this combination and I loved the way it softened the look but still left the sky with a bit of color.
I really like this I think better than the original well done Nancy

@jamesy: Thank you, Debbie!
Gee, this is gorgeous and I too, think I like it better softer.

@Judy: Thank, Judy. I think I'm just in a "soft color" mood, this week. This one's my favorite at the moment, too, although I like both for different reasons.
I like both shots,but I prefer yesterdays, thats because I've got a thing about Lichen on stonework. :>)

@Jeff: I guess I like both for different reasons. This week, it appears I'm in a mood for softness. It's the moody artiste in me. LOL
Gives it a totally different feel... I really like this one!! I feel the almost monotone gives this image a more dynamic look... which is a contradiction, I know, but... ;-)

Ahhh, that is just great. Still using that howitzer of a lens, eh?

and right you are, the modification totally changed the photo, bravo Booky ;)

Gives it a different look and feel certainly. I think I prefer the more highly saturated colour of the previous shot, but this works well too.

Back again :)
I didn't realize you had an A700. I just got an A200 being a poor old guy, and I am just thrilled with it. sony rocks. I had a Minolta 700 Maxxum 35mm, and all my cool lenses fit on the Alpha. Love the darn thing.
First post with the Alpha is now up.
