@grouser: Yep, those are the ones. Where in Ontario? We went on a canoeing/camping trip in Algonquin Park -- our first experience with loons. They're amazing creatures.

@Lesley: I should have clarified that those hawks were sharing a branch but not doing anything that would make kindergarteners ask embarrassing questions. I think they were looking for a place to nest. We've seen a lot of these guys, lately. Thanks, Les. :)
