@Earnest: Oh, Earnest, you are my kind of guy! I feel exactly the same way. Now, I would not admire them so much if I was a rodent or other small animal (there was an article in the local paper about a chihuahua whose owner had to beat away a hawk to save her puppy, recently) but I think they're amazing creatures.

@grouser: The only treatment I did was to crop it, believe it or not. The sepia effect has to do with the fact that the hawk was about to fly across the sun, from my viewpoint. I had to snap very quickly to keep from blinding myself. Thank you, Grouster.
