@jamesy: Thank you, Debbie! Well, not really a break so much as a busy time. And, then here I am, posting and planning to jump back in . . . and the power goes out. Now, I'm thinking, "I'm behind, again!" And, maybe I should just give up computers and blogging.

@Earnest: I think that may be due to the fact that the building has been unused for eons and needs some major upkeep. I should do some research -- not sure how old it is or when they stopped using it, but that train station was out of commission before we moved here in 1986. It's a huge, beautiful building. I'm glad they're going to restore it.

@grouser: Thanks for the info, Sir Grousalot. I have a British/American English dictionary but it's . . . actually, I think it's lost but it wasn't terribly easy to use.
