Apologies for my absence. I should be back to visiting, today, if the family doesn't drag me away.

I just love this building. I assume it's a work building or storage shed, although it has such a "shack" look that I've taken to calling it The Shack Down the Road (it's about a half-mile from our home). The Coke sign I photographed earlier in the year has disappeared -- I'd guess stolen, as the building is just off a pretty busy intersection -- but the folks who own the house that goes with this little outbuilding just recently put their used propane tanks outside, endowing me with further material. Gotta love these people for the photo-opportunities they're providing.

I love the selective colour...it seems so deserted, and instead, just traces of who was once there. Nice shot.

@bluechameleon: Thank you, bluechameleon! It's really quite a "lived-in" place (the house is, anyway), so I had to pop my head out of the moon roof quickly and hope the residents didn't see me snapping and grab a shotgun. ;)

I like this composition ... a path to the shed ... or maybe a BBQ area. The selective color adds a lot, while the huge tree trunk anchors the whole thing ... very good!

PS: I'm happy you found some glass icicles for your tree for next year! :D

@Judy: There's probably a grill back there, somewhere, for sure! Thank you! I'm rather fond of that tree, but I hadn't thought of it as anchoring the picture. That makes me feel all happy inside.

PS: Thanks! I'm happy, too. I got 30 icicles! Pretty good, considering the fact that we usually choose a 4-5' tree, don't you think?

Gas man not been by for a while
Possibly a gas bottle museum?
lovely shack - that's my kind of shed and what a tree growing next to it.

I think he'll have to haul his own for fill-up or replacement.
But, a gas bottle museum is an excellent option.
Isn't that shack hoopty? We grow our trees rather huge and easy to topple, here.

The only color which persists is the color rusts of these old bottles. In all the cases, all is well ordered, this wood appear-being house a face with an eye. Very beautiful composition Bravo ;)

@Pixim: Merci, Pixim! J'ai été tout à fait pris par l'apparence de ces réservoirs rouillés du gaz et ai cru que la photo semblerait la meilleure avec seulement une quantité d'élection de couleur. Merci de me dire j'ai réussi.
