Tweet little decoration

I didn't like the photo I had loaded for today and I'm up late, again (sigh) . . . and vaguely clueless about what to post. So, you get to see a closeup of one of our decorations. Our tree has white lights, bird ornaments and candy canes. Not the theme I intended, but when kiddo placed the candy canes on the tree, he was so pleased with himself that I couldn't stand the idea of undoing his efforts. The birds are mine. It's a compromise tree.

@jamesy: Thank you, Debbie! We made a conscious decision to make this a good Christmas because it's been a year of loss for our family. It's amazing to me how well that's worked! "Peace" is the perfect word. We've worked at peace and joy and are having loads of fun, as a result. I'm glad that resonated for you! :)

@Lorraine: Thanks, Rainy! I've never actually photographed little things on the tree, but I live with a Scrooge and just getting things up has always been a bit of a battle. This year has been better (till today, but we won't go there).

Oh, I love this natural little Chickadee ornament ... he's 'tweeting' songs that say, "Peace, peace, peace..." and I love the sounds of your compromise. If only all people in the world would learn that lesson we wouldn't be in this sorry mess. God bless you for your efforts; you'll be rewarded!

The chickadees have been sort of quiet this winter.. Usually they are out and about chattering and singing and often overhead as if curious about what I'm up to outside... Thanks for the great reminder.
