Or, no, I take that back. Beautiful kitty does not need to eat the visitors. Quit licking your chops, cat. #5 from the Memphis Zoo. I think we're getting close to the end of this series.

@jamesy: I think it's a snow leopard, Debbie. Not certain, though. I didn't bother to look at a lot of the signs. Sometimes I get a little obsessive about the photography and don't pay attention.

@grouser: Thank you. I think it's a snow leopard, Mr. Grouser, but I'm not certain because I'm inattentive and need to be slapped upside the head. His meow is worse than his bite? LOL I love it! He looks awfully soft and pettable.

I have to say, this is a great dynamic portrait. I especially like the color tones, both on the cat and in the background, which looks like a painting. Very well done.

nice shot! yes, appears to be a snow leopard - though they usually have a bit longer thicker/fur on the face - i almost thought it was a liger from the thumb!
he looks very well fed...

@djedfre: Thank you! He does look very healthy, doesn't he? Thanks for the info! I didn't realize his facial hair was in any way odd, but then I couldn't positively identify him. Just toss me in the Zoo Ignoramus category.

I like this head so small in front of this big and formless body, I do not laugh at big cat. The decoration natural and tones colored warmly used honour the dress of the animal ;)
