Mr. Earl's House

Posted by Bookfool (Mississippi, United States) on 27 November 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

Even standing in the street, I couldn't quite fit all of Mr. Earl's sprawling house into a frame. I need to go back and take a picture of the front of the house -- this is a side view. Mr. Earl's house is built from scraps. Quite a bit was donated after his previous house burned to the ground. I'm guessing he'll pretty it up with paintings, eventually. There are a few, but you can't see them in this photo. A wind chime and bird house are hanging from a window on what appears to be the second floor.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Americans! I'll be busy for a few days, so tomorrow's post (already loaded) is a belated Thanksgiving photo and I hope to return to posting on Sunday.
