Swampy #4 - last one!

@Lorraine: Well, thank you for that, Lorraine. I've discovered that I'm just as ADD about photos as I am about reading. 2 or 3 days worth of photos of the same locale and I start to get twitchy. I almost took this one down and declared the swamp over, but decided to just give it one more day. I'm glad you've enjoyed them!

@grouser: Thank you. You can see we grow our trees tall in Mississippi. I hadn't thought about how nicely that shows. :)

Thank you for that info!! That does help.

It does kind of look like horses' hooves, when you look at it just so. Last week, I took a photo or two of the zebra hooves, at the zoo. I've realized recently that I have a thing for animal feet (and tails . . . and possibly ears). You should have seen me shuffling along on my belly to capture the cat's paws. They are so dainty when they walk!

@Earnest: I almost commented on the fact that the lens adds kind of a glow effect, yep. It's okay for scenery, but it's a real problem when you're trying to do a portrait. I discovered the lens had that focus/glow problem when I was interviewing an author and tried to snap his picture. Argh! Horrible timing. But, he was really gracious about it.
