Nice shot! I like the contrast between the b&w and the red. Very striking!

@Les: Thanks, Les. I had to shoot that one from the car (no place to pull over, but there's a stop sign in front of that house) in a hurry. The coke sign is hanging, now. It looks cute, but I liked it better on the ground because it had more of a rural look, to me.
Nice contrast! So is that the smallest shack ever? Or a really big bottle cap? ;)

@bisha: Thanks! It's probably either a workshop (lots of people have a seperate building for their carpentry work, here) or a storage shed. The coke sign is huge!! I've been sitting here laughing about how big the coke bottle would have to be, if it was a bottle cap. :)
This is fantastic! It looks like you did a bit of selective colouring? or is the wood that weathered? You have some fantastic posts, too!! You should be putting them in your portfolio as well... just a little tip from an Am3 oldtimer LOL!! Most of us like to have a boo at portfolios to see everything that has been posted. And welcome to Am3.. it's the best community!

@amy: Thank you, Amy. :) Yes, I used a center-spot feature to take away the brown of the wood and zone in on the red, but that building is very weathered. I just thought the coke sign stood out more with the rest of the photo turned b & w. I had never even noticed the portfolio feature. I'll do that, thanks!!! I love advice from oldtimers -- much appreciated!!
love the texture and composition here. very cool vintage coke paraphernalia. nicely done : )

@peter: Thank you, Peter. I really would like to ask where they got that nifty coke sign, but there's a no trespassing sign on the driveway. Big hints are their thing.
